Stationary Engineer License Renewal Contact:, 412-788-7357 The Center for Professional Development offers a robust selection of continuing education courses required for your yearly Stationary Engineer license renewal. All courses are eight hours, utilizing curriculum preapproved by the City of Pittsburgh.
Upon completion, all Stationary Engineers and Boiler Firemen will be issued a certificate with 0.80 Continuing Education Units. A record of your attendance will be reported to the City of Pittsburgh. Please be sure to bring a copy of your current Stationary Engineer license number with you on the day of class. Fall 2018 Course Schedule This course will utilize actual, local, HVAC Blueprints showing demo work and new work. Participants will identify piping locations, pipe changes to existing work, ductwork drops, location of various types of valves, piping connections, and fire system devices and symbols.
License renewal for supervising electricians, electrical contractors, mason contractors, plumber's apprentices, plumbers, and plumbing contractors are performed online directly through the Department of Buildings' website.
